A rundown on our processes, shipping methods & rates, returns info & warranty info.
Order process: select the most appropriate for your order
Pickup Orders: you will be contacted regarding your order ONLY if we expect to be incapable of fulfilling it at the next available pickup time.
Shipped orders: your order will be left as pending until your payment has processed. Payment is near-instantaneous with paypal and usually next-day with direct deposit, apart from payments made after 5pm Friday appearing Tuesday morning. You will recieved notification of reciept of payment via email and your order will be set to processing. Orders marked processing by 1pm are usually shipped the same day, see the next section for details.
Shipping: You will be recieve notification when the goods ship, or if there are any availability issues. Techtopia reserves the right to substitute equivalent shipping methods as appropriate.
Australia Post: plain post has been discontinued. We now only ship via express post. Shipping is at your risk, and the service is untraceable.
Couriers: we have a range of courier options available to our customers
Courier Services: please be aware that by chising a courier service you are accepting liability for redelivery charges, should you be unable to sign for the package, when it is delivered.
Australian Air Express: this service is a next day service to most major metro locations within Australia. Should you be outside the next-day service you will none the less get the fastest delivery offered. The service is based on multiples of 3 and 5kg prepaid stickers, and as a result, can be expensive on heavy or bulky orders.
TNT: Aus-wide road express service. This tends to be a good choice for bulkier orders aus-wide, once you exceed the economy of pre-paid satchels.
Warranty: all non-consumable goods carry a minimum one year warranty through Techtopia, except where noted. Some goods hold a longer manufacturers warranty, often handled direct through the manufacturers agents. Cables, pigtails, tape and crimp fittings are examples of consumables and as such carry no warranty.
Returns: unopened goods may be accepted for return subject to prior contact and approval from Techtopia. If you would like to return something pleae contact us via email with your invoice number, the item you would like to return, and it's condition. We can offer a 14 day refund period on selected unopened items. These items do not include; any software, licenses, cut cable or custom cable. Once goods are opened they are subject to a 20% restocking fee, should their return be accepted.
