16 Port 10/100/1000Mbps Web Managed Switch With 2 Paired Gigabit Mini-GBIC (SFP) Ports.

The GSS-16T2SFP is a high performance web-smart switch that provides 2 paired mini-GBIC ports and 16 x 10/100/1000Mbps copper Ethernet ports. With optional fibre transceivers installable into the 2 paired mini-GBIC slots a combination of either multi-mode fibre transceivers for short distance applications or single-mode fibre transceivers for long distance applications can be used to construct a high-speed fibre backbone.



Management is implemented through in-band Ethernet connectivity.



All ports support Non-blocking maximum wire speed performance. Auto-Negotiation and AUTO-MDIX functions on all switched 10/100/1000M RJ-45 Gigabit copper ports.



The GSS-16T2SFP supports both port-based VLAN and Tag-based VLAN. To increase bandwidth for backbone applications up to 8 trunks can be enabled with a maximum of 12 ports in each trunk.
